Associate Product Manager

The Associate Product Manager is to support the Product Manager for the product lifecycle management and the execution of a strategic marketing plan to achieve the growth goal with new and existing products. This includes managing the product distribution throughout channels, gathering customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales, marketing, engineering, to offer competitive products to the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales strategy and goal both technically and commercially – strategic resource for market segment based escalation of support requests. 
  • Provide opportunity closing support as product management – items such as cost analysis, risk analysis and risk release, lead time coordination. 
  • Support order entry effort for closing and won projects. Generate project execution budget based on cost analysis and report projected margin. Lead or participate in PO Award Meeting and Internal Kick-off Meeting activities. 
  • Overview the product line scope and help manage Engineering Change Request (ECR) from product management perspective to keep product competitive on the market 
  • Lead or participate in New Product Development (NPD) efforts to help enter new market segments or increase existing market shares. 
  • Collect, compile and analyze competitive information or market intelligence for product development, improvement, promotion, and marketing. 
  • Manage Distribution Channel Network to support sales goals. Onboard channel partners as needed. Serve to collect voice of customer data to further understand and manage customer expectation. 
  • Assist in supporting the achievement of volume, revenue, and profitability targets for business segment – Channel Partners and Packaging Partners. 
  • Support to manage inter-company trades within the network of Fusheng entities and partners. 
  • Lead or assist in creating or maintaining application, marketing and sales tools as related to product line. 
  • Support marketing to promote the product for brand recognition, account development, and lead generation. 
  • Provide input and support on potential Continuous Improvement (CI) projects. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1-5 years work experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Knowledge of compressor technology is a plus.  
  • Basic knowledge of Product Management or Marketing principles and theory, and experience with new product development processes preferred. 
  • Demonstrated Customer Centric attitude. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software; CRM, ERP & Marketing Automation systems experience preferred. 
 
Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Major of Engineering preferred. Master’s Degree (MS) or MBA is a plus.
